About Us

Bishops Guest House Eshowe is a magnificent colonial home built in 1891 for the Bishop of Zululand.

It was refurbished and turned into a Guesthouse in 2010, keeping the original architecture but with modern finishes. In January 2019, Bishops was taken over by new Management.

We  offer 3 Standard Rooms and 5 Superior Rooms, all with en-suite bathroom facilities, DSTV, Free-WIFI and ample Secure Parking within the premises.

Bishops is close to town, making it ideal for business and leisure customers to get to shops and the centre of town.

The stately residence has exceptional ambience and Old-School character. Bishops Guesthouse prides itself for the personalised service it gives to all its customers. Our aff are delighted to be at your service.

The guesthouse has convenient access to shopping centres, restaurants, museums, Eshowe Hills Golf Course, The Zululand Brewing Company and Dlinza Forrest Boardwalk.

We are also within a 20 minute drive from Shakaland Zululand Cultural Village and Phobane Lake / Goedetrouw Dam.

Eshowe is situated around the lush Dlinza Forest in the rolling hills of Zululand, and is close to the capitals of the old Zulu Kingdoms.
